Providence, RI -- This vintage Child's ride on horse is covered with real pony (?) fur. Don't know the age, but there are stamps under the saddle and on the bottom of the wood base that say "Made in Western Germany". approx 29" high - 28" long - 9" wide There is 1 place on the head where the fur is torn. Otherwise the hair covering is pretty well intact. The white mane has a fair amount of the hair missing in 1 area (see picture #3). Most of the horse is made of wood - definitely the hooves, legs, head, and body. Some of the riding gear is missing and you can see where it used to rest against the fur. Saddle has some marks and water stains on it. Looks like it used to also be mounted as a rocking horse by the holes in the base...I've seen others like this that had wheels and rocked. I can send a bunch more photos if anyone is interested in seeing more detail. I am very happy to answer specific questions about the condition. Would love to know more about this horse such as age, etc. if anyone knows about it.

It has two side pockets, and a single hook closure. The sides of the jacket at the seam, and the front bottom are rounded. Closed, and laid flat, the jacket measures 21 ins from underarm to underarm (total 42 ins around). From the neck to the bottom it measures approx 22ins. The lining is black satin. The label is "Margaret G - Della Selva". This jacket is meant to hang just below the natural waist. The sleeves are made at almost full length..
